Gentlemen:
Does anyone happen to have the correct Bosch part number for this alternator? Owners Manual says it is a A.120.421.251 (regulator 0.192.052.005). I need to have my alternator rebuild, and hoepfully, upgraded but I can't find a shop that can call up that part numer. Would like to make arrangements before removing the bloody thing from the car. Thanks in advance. Steve Schroeder |

Steve,
Short of possibly a different mounting point, and/or bracket orientation and unique Ferrari-only pulley....these Bosch alternators were the same as what was used on most Fiats of that period. Any competent shop can handle your rebuild or upgrade. Regards, David (Message edited by fastradio2 on February 05, 2005) |

Maybe this might help:
I am just finishing an '82 Mondial, and I looked a the alternator in it. The ?Bosch sticker was still on it, and reads like this: O 120 469 537 N1 14V 80 Amp 22 This is listed in the Mondy parts book as Ferrari # 117967, and is probably the same as they are the same motor and trans as the 308.
