Default Probably bad connection on T1

Probably bad connection on T1 or t2 sensors.
If these are disconnected completely then ECU
reverts to basic settings. (get you home mode) Unplugging and the replugging has probably somewhat cleaned the connections and the sensors are now giving the correct data

Default May I ask what temp sensor you

May I ask what temp sensor your referring to? Is it the thermo-time switch located on the "gooseneck" at the front-top area of the motor? There are multiple sensors located there....did you unplug all of them? I have a TR and would like to know.....Thank You.

Default it's the black connector o

it's the black connector on the gooseneck. That's the temperature switch. And the brown is the thermotime switch. Vehicle now starts and dies. If we disconnect the themotime switch the vehicle just cranks and dosen't start.

Well we replaced the temp sensor. The smaller 2 pin switch on the goosneck. Vehicle now starts and runs fine cold or hot. Everything at the moment is a go, and vehicle is on the road. Thanks for all your help. Oh we did reset fuel mixture due to it being out of spec. thanx JR
