Default Is it a good idea to use a bit

Is it a good idea to use a bit of grease when assembling things like suspension arms and bushed parts, i.e. where a bolt passes through a bush?

Absolutely!
The A-arms should drop pivoting from the bushings with only their own weight; have no latteral or rotational slop.

I like to use Valvoline Semi-Synthetic DuraBlend Grease.

Default David, It looks like those

David,

It looks like those rotors are painted? I was wondering if you can get paint that will withstand the temperatures. I know you can get caliper paint but I imagine the rotors can get even hotter than the caliper and I don't want my brakes to catch fire!

Well yes and no...

I paint the interior of the cooling vents with 1200 degree hi-temp paint to inhibit rust.
But that rotor was freshly bead blasted before I re-installed it.

Here is one before bead blasting


And here is one after.
