Default The TRs are known for having a

The TRs are known for having a weak trans shaft that can break under load, the one from my Boxer looks fairly small and weak also,the upgrade is to use a 512TR shaft, do Boxers suffer the same issue with them and can you upgrade to the 512 shaft?

Jeff,

I have heard of 1 or 2 Boxer shafts breaking, but I certianly wouldn't call it common. The TR's are quite a bit heavier and have much wider rubber which when used to the extreme puts far more load on the shaft than a Boxer. As far as retro fitting, never tried it.

Default Frank, the actual "driv

Frank,

the actual "drive shaft" that goes from the lower transfer gear to the trans.

not really a big issue, but as mentioned they have on occasion been known to snap.
