Car Won't Start
I have 1984 Mondail QV 3.0, US version.
The car will not start, it turns over but never catches.
The second problem is that I have no auxiliary power. I cant turn anytihing
on without having to start the car (ie listen to the radio).
I have checked all the fuse and all the relays. I bought the car from a
guy in NH who just completed the 50K out of car engine service. The car
ran well for a month then problems cropped up right after I had to replaced
a broken oil hose (goes from the engine to the oil cooler). I've replaced the
fuel bump, but that didn't fix it. My timing lights tell me that the sparks
are going to both banks of pistons. I tested the fuel pump by hooking it up to
a car battery, it ran. I then attempted to start the car and it started for a few seconds so that pretty much eliminates the engine.
Can anyone help on either problem? Are there relays other then the ones on the fuse board in the car somewhere? I think it's pretty odd to lose the
aux DC in the car.
