Carb 308 Air Filters Baldwin PA2094

I'm getting a Baldwin Air Filter for my '77 308 from White Tuker out on N.Eldridge and 290 area (www.whitetuker.com). It's part # PA2094. They order 6 at a time but will sell just one. $29.95+tax.

If anyone else in the Houston area wants one, PM me and I'll pick one up for you. They'll be here in about a week. Or, I'll just update this thread and you can get it yourself. You can order on the phone (800# on web site) and they will ship it to you out of towners.

I read a lot of info. on the 308's in the archives at the "other" site and the Baldwin seems to be the filter of choice. The consensus seemed to be that the K&N let in to much crap and the HP gain was suspect (confirmed by a Forza article) while the Balwin seemed to be a little more robust in filtering ability.

From reading other info the OEM from a dealer is closer to $100.

FYI to others. They only ordered ONE of the air filters. I mis-understood and they broke up the package of 6 since it is a special order part. If you want one, you'll have to call and order it for yourself. But the price sure seemed reasonable compared to others I've seen.

They also carry the B253 oil filters. Forgot to ask how much
