I'm looking at things on my 328 FI system and thought to check a Porsche website where I get parts for my 911. It appears that old Porsches used a k-jetronic system too. There are numerous responses to FI problems for the K-jet CIS. Some that were almost identical to what I have been asking everyone. Guess those cars break equally as well :-) I think the early 928s are close to the Ferrari 308/328

Yes - I always picked up a copy of 'Excellence', the Porsche equivalent of 'Forza' when they have good tech stuff on K-jet.
The Porsche 911 2.7 and 3.0 guys have a lot of good lessons to offer, as the systems are identical (except Ferraris don't need the dreaded pop off valve to save a plastic plenum from backfire). In fact, it was the highly successful PMO K-jetronic to Weber conversions that lead me to retrofit Webers on my car. Pelican parts is also good to deal with - got my LM-1 A/F meter kit from them. best rt |
