Default I pulled the plugs last week a

I pulled the plugs last week and noticed they were a dark black color around the tips. Not oily or gummy, but a rough carbon looking black stuff on the plugs.

Doesn't this indicate that the car is running to rich?

If so, and I lean it out and re-tune, and clean the plugs, will they ever get that light tan/brown color or should I just buy new? (I ask b/c I just bought them a few months back and it seems a shame to simply throw them away if they're still good)

Thanks

Default Assuming they are the correct

Assuming they are the correct heat range and the tune up is correct, never been dropped on the floor, and you do clean the plugs correctly,YES, they will still work.
