First, it is unusual for anyone to be complaining about their daytona A/C working. Mine workes so well, all the condensation accumulated in the compartment right in front of the console and then when it had had enough, it poured ice cold water or condensate on my foot. How do you unplug that sucker? Can you access the drain line from underneath? Help someone...thank you
If memory serves me right, there are two rubber drain hoses (Black, about 3/8" dia) under the car in the console area. If your can get under there, try running something through. Perhaps a soft drinking straw, or a piece of speedometer cable if persistent.
Thanks Bill, the next time I have it up on the lift, I will do that and post the results...2 rubber drain hoses instead of just one...just like Ferrari,... over engineer...
seems the two lines are open.. i put it on a lift and poked through there like you said Bill... then blew some air through the drain pipes...nothing there...why would the A/C condensate drain at the two opposite ends when the a/c is running? holes there?
The next step is to pull the Plastic Front Cover to see if the lines are bent where they attach to the housing. It's likely once ou get the Plstic Cover/Housing removed you'll see the problem.
