Talking Failure to engage gear on 2002 F360

morning folks

I have a 360 spyder but have a strange issue. I can depress clutch, engage gear (so I have clearance) but when I release the clutch "nothing happens" any clever thoughts. ferraricyprus sorted out my immobiliser issue directing me to disconnect the siren et Voila a 360 that now starts but will not drive ! - so almost there - any thoughts

sincerely

Hmm. That's a strange one. Just so we are clear, with the ENGINE RUNNING, you depress the clutch, engage gear, release the pedal but it does nothing? No drive whatsoever?
If it's NOT going into gear with the engine running, i would have a look back down by your alarm siren. Maybe you knocked the clutch feed pipe off the side of the brake fluid reservoir? If so, re-attach and bleed the system. It's also possible that the plastic nipple on the side of the reservoir has snapped off (they can go brittle with age) in which case you will need a new plastic reservoir.
The only reason that it will go into gear and not move (engine running) is if the clutch has totaly failed or there is a gearbox issue. I suspect this isn't the case!! PM me if you need the procedure to bleed the clutch (if the pipe has come off) and i will email it to you. It's quite a simple procedure you can perform at home without the need for hefty dealer bills!

I think is a gearbox problem.
