Ferrari 360 door pocket

Hi, I've just purchaced a 360 Modena and I found a scratch on the left door's pocket panel. Is this plastic or aluminum? How can it be rectified?

It is painted aluminum to the best of my knowledge. I had mine repainted by an auto body shop last year for the same reason.

gentelman above is correct....... painted,,,some have found it difficult to match the rest of the car when repainting.keep that in mind if not replacing with new.

and depending on the year.finish can be different. (2 different finishes)
