Help to clarify identification of part

Just dug out a part from the garage , must of been ordered as a spare part but never used many moons before myself and was hoping for some help to identify the part and what type of Ferrari's it fits etc .

Its in its original packet ( Whats left of it ) and far as i am aware from what i read off the ticket its part number 153096 , Also on the ticket as follows :

CONTROL UNIT (456 DOOR GLASS)
Date 16/9/97 GRN 24626 Order RJ13628 VM
REF : F506030

CENTRALINA ELECTRON.MUVIM.VETR/PORT

Hopefully some of that makes sense as the ticket is abit worn !!

then on the unit itself which is about a 5inc square box with male pin connectors on each side there is embossed :

Ferrari
12V
79546
26980172 00
S.D.C

From good old google searches i have found the following :

153096 ECU WINDOWS
Ferrari Parts, Ferrari Accessories, and Ferrari Performance Products - Ricambi America, Inc.

And the more closest as the part number / number on the unit seems to match description which does seem to say it is this unit...

if it being the 2nd the correct item i presume it would fit a 456GT only ? And if the unit IS sided would it fit N/S or O/S ? Also as its a new and unused item is there still a market for it as a spare part ?

Only fits 456GT/GTA/MGT/GTA models. You may find a specialist who wishes to buy it from you, but they don't fail terribly often so the market will be small. Stick it in the classifieds of the various Ferrari Forums....
