Horn Compressor Oil

Hi,

What type of oil is used in a 308 horn compressor? Is 3-in-1 okay to use?

I've used Sears sewing machine oil for years just because when my wife got a new sewing machine several years ago it came with oil and ended up in my tool box. Works fine. If I didn't have it I'd use 3-in-1. It should be fine.
