Default A coworker of mine is looking

A coworker of mine is looking for what he calls a "boss" for a Momo steering wheel he has for his 1996 F355 Berlinetta. I have great difficulty understanding him and am not sure this is the right term to use or not. I assume this means the trim piece that surrounds the steering column. I thought Ferraris came with Momo steering wheels, but I guess he is changing it. Can anyone shed some light on this as I feel quite stupid not knowing exactly what he means. Thank You.

Default Just a guess. Is he talking

Just a guess.

Is he talking about a metal donut/coupler inserted between the steering wheel and linkage, of suitable thickness to move the wheel closer to the driver?

This is the only thing i can think of.

Ahhhh...yes that would make sense. I wonder why he would need one....seems like it would have come with the Momo wheel. He tells me he has looked everywhere and is not able to find one. Oh by the way...this person is in Japan! Gosh...how come I left that part out of my original post?
