Default Mondial t idle speed

I found that one of the air hoses had come off under the plenum chamber (probably explains the poor choke running when first started) that is connected to the valve shown in the picture.

I replaced the hose but the idle speed has gone up from 1000 to 1200rpm and the engine now takes a while to die down to idle when you take your foot off the gas.
How do I alter the idle speed on the Mondial t (Motronic 2.5 version) ?

Not sure why the attached image is so small....

Default Idle speed

I figured this out, there's a screw and locknut (14mm spanner needed) on the side of each throttle body, loosen the locknut and turn the screw clockwise (screw in) to reduce the idle speed.
The engine needs to be at operating temperature.
Obviously both sides need to be adjusted the same amount, I found that half a turn clockwise on both screws lowered the idle speed from 1200rpm to 1,000rpm.
I think that has to rate as the fastest "fix" ever on my Mondial t....only taking five minutes. The last "quick" job, refitting the hose, took over four hours as I ended up having to remove the plenum chamber top to get at it.

You shouldn't set the idle this way. You should blank off the idle valve pipe where it enters the throttle and adjust it using a vac. guage on each intake. It should be an even vacuum and idle at around 850 with the bypass not in the equation. Otherwise you will end up with all sorts of running problems

Thanks for the information. I realised there would be a correct way to do it but nobody replied to my post at the time so I had to do the best I could with it myself.
