Interesting - thanks
Mine is in the Mondial's trunk now for about a year or so; I had just finished a 4 hour trip yesterday, and when I went to restart it after an hour, the car ran loke crap and the box was to hot to touch. This am after cooling overnight, the car seems to run fine again. The box was again too hot to touch after the hour test drive this am. Any better alternatives? Or did I just suffer from some weird vapor lock problem? thanks rt |

Most interesting.
Is there a particular mounting position that is more prone to this? For an example, most coils do not last well if mounted other than vertical, due to the cooling oil not covering a part of the wiring coils? Kermit |

Well then, since it seems to be running well again, just how much of an advantage is having an MSD - I mean, would the car be more reliable with just an optically triggered high voltage coil? Would I lose much? As silly as it may seem with a Ferrari - reliability is a big deal with me.

I would put my .02 in the MSD is on its way out. If location (trunk) had been a problem in cooling, I would think it would have shown up a lot sooner. especially on the rollers (dyno), where there is no air movement at all.Warrantee?
