The hood lift supports on my 1988 testarosa no longer support the hood. I can see them at the headlight housings but can someone advise me on how to access them for replacement? Is there a schematic drawing for step by step removal?
I recognize that 90% of Ferrari owners just have their dealers fix their cars but I happen to be a DIY enthusiast, working on my past Jaguars, Covette... engines and mechanicals and rebuilding my sailboat engine so I was hoping I could get some time saving advice from either ferrari mechanics or knowledgable owners. As an aside, changing the hood lifts on both my Jeep Grand Cherokees takes about three minutes !!
i imagine these ones cant be much different. if there buried just remove wut you need too and the ends of the struts just pop out by taking a small screwdriver to the tab on the back. real simple
