Default HI, Today I was attempting

HI,

Today I was attempting to remove my passenger seat and was surprised to find a very old, small amplifier mounted to the floor. This is strange because the car ('76 308) was never fitted with a radio and has no speakers etc.

The unit has connectors that look "factory-like".

Did the factory provide an underseat amplifier along with the antenna, speaker holes, etc??

Thanks,

Anthony

Default Hi Anthony, I'm not awa

Hi Anthony,

I'm not aware of any OE factory amp...though on both my 83 308 and 86 328...that's where I mounted the amp for my stereo system!

Regards,
David

Default Are you sure it was never fitt

Are you sure it was never fitted with a radio? Maybe someone has redone the console and covered the hole? That's what I did to my car, that way there is no hole with wires sticking out.
