Default Hello, Off to Canada today fo

Hello,
Off to Canada today for the itailan car show, just get over the border, and my battery light comes on! 100 miles from home, not good!! So I turn around and headed back to border and find a parts store for a battery to try and get the beast home. Found a store and pulled off negitive terminal off to see if the Tr would keep running, nope! Took battery out and ran a test on it,a little low, but as strong as they had on shelf. Long story short, use old battery and headed back to Washington and died 60 miles from home! Must be the alternator?? Any advise on replacing it, looks to be a pain in the A@# to get to! Good place to buy new, or just have it rebuilt!
Thanks for any ideas...Robert

Pull the forward Cowl and it slips out the top, with the usual amount of Ferrari effort, then just have it rebuilt by a local reputable source.
