Default Are you sure it wasn't a 5

Are you sure it wasn't a 512TR vs a testarossa? The testarossa engine comes out the bottom, whereas, the 512 TR engine comes out the top.

The 512TR does not have the separate subframe, as in the testarossa.

Default You can take the motor out fro

You can take the motor out from the top on a Testarossa. It's just a little more tricky then lowering out through the bottom. If I was doing the job without a lift, I would take it out through the top. It it definatly a nerve wracking thing though, when you have all the weight hanging over top of the body!! But after doing a bunch you get used to it. The 512TR was designed to come out through the top because of the solid rear frame they updated to on the 512.
