TRspark plug gap

I replaced my TR spark plugs with an Iridium brand (NGK). The TR manual states to gap the "original" plugs at 0.6-0.7mm. Should I gap these also at that setting?.......they came gapped at about 0.8mm.

It is unlikely that there is any notable difference, I use the Iridium NGK and leave at the stock gap.
