Default I understand what you are sayi

I understand what you are saying. I think that's right so long as your assumption that you were in reverse is correct. Here I assume you confirmed neutral by starting the car and letting off the clutch a little to make sure it backed up?

Good luck,

Default Drew, I took out the FP rel

Drew,

I took out the FP relays.......so the car wouldn't start. The clutch is not working, since I still haven't been able to bleed it properly, hence, it was engaged on the flywheel.

I put the car in each gear, then cranked the engine to see what would happen.

I am confused about the two detente positions at 12:30 and 11;30........I thought there would only be one at 12:00. If I recall correctly, when I started this major, I had the gated shifter in second, and the engine rod was straight up and down (12:00 position).

I am assuming that the clutch is preventing me from properly testing the engine trans rod.

Hence, I will continue with the clutch bleeding. I believe the master is not bled, as JRV suggested.

Hank
