Default For your weekend entertainment

For your weekend entertainment:

I really like my tubi, but always thought it a bit harsh, and the small, almost hidden, exhaust pipes not matching for the character of the car and exhaust. I have always thought that Stebro's exhaust tips with removable resonators was a clever idea. The tip resonators smooth out the tone and quiet the volume a bit - and are quickly removable. Was going to do a custom Larini exhaust, but Euro/US spec issues became untenable.
So, have engineered and am having built two Stebro custom resonated tailpipes for my tubi muffler. Have also designed them larger (3" vs 2.25") for the resonator and at about a 20+ degree angle aggressive exit with an angle cut, looking much like a Daytona in size and appearence. Will also be able to re-use the tips if I decide to go with a dual muffler system later.

Anyway, just an entertaining little improvement.

best to all

How will you accomidate the larger tips exiting the shroud? Or have you removed it?

Russ,
I really like your approach to problem solving.
I have an ANSA (no cats) on my 308 and it appears that the resonator tips have been renewed at least once. They keep the volume down on those long drives to Canada but at times I would like the option of popping the tips off to get a little more sound.

Are your new tips being built by Stebro?
