Man, we've got a guy here in Houston, really expanding his collection!
Both a 512bbi AND a Miura, in the last six months! Added to his original Countach, and I think he has a Diablo as well........ Welcome to our new Cafe, Steve! *handing a cold Foster's* He must have a BIG garage!!! |

See that young blonde in the Color Guard up there?
She was really interested in my Art Car..."how fast does it go?" and all that. I tossed her the keys and said "I dunno, come drive it and see" She was over the moon....I've got her number around here somewhere, she was leaving for UT Austin, my old stomping grounds! |

I've just given up on entertaining the troops!
No I don't recall sharing with her that I was cruising around with a 18 year old Sea Scout. I thought it was the Coast Guard or something when I first saw her! I didn't CALL her, I just thought about it! ;) A man's got to know his limitations, as James Harman puts it: "You find that special someone, light the candle, and let that candle burn........just the one candle!...you can't go around lightin' EVERYBODY's candle" "Icepick's Blues" James Harman and the Dangerous Gentlemen |

The young lady was funny though, as she left, thanking me, she said:
"Drove my first Ferrari.....this is a GREAT day!" Kind of like Transportation Day with the kids.....gives you a refreshed perspective on these darn cars.... ![]() |
