So, I bought my 308 gt4 and am now either impressed or depressed, hoping for lots of help and encouragement from you guys!

That is an awesome vehicle. You should be impressed.
Make sure you have certificate of authenticity by
the Ferrari Classiche department of Ferrari because
that is the right thing to do, and it increases the value.
That 3.0 L V8 only has 230 hp but the 308 GT4 only
weighs 2500 lbs, so keep that in mind. It also has
x4 Weber carburetors that need to be kept clean and
maintained, or that can severely hinder performance.
That 308 GT4 is one of the earliest Mid-engine V8
model Ferraris. You should really cherish that 308.

That thing is a GEM. You should be proud. While some of the newer exotics completely blow it out of the water performance wise, none of them offer the same panache your 308 holds. It was an innovative and impressive machine in it's time. Both still hold true today.
