Default Very New Ferrari Owner

Hi...
Not used to the operations of Forums, so will need some help as I go along.
Just bought (last week) my first Ferrari. Never thought I would but the opportunity popped up to purchase an almost perfect '85 Mondial at what I thought was a resonable price and just when I was getting my garage space back for my daily driver it is now again occupied by this beautiful car. Worst of all, I bought it on my wife's birthday and now her friends insist that I got it for her...which is not all bad because I don't get the "smirks" I probably deserve from her for driving this home and parking it in our new space without a consultation.
Anyway, glad to be here and hope to learn a few things about being a Ferrari owner.
Joe

The most important thing to know is the
Ferrari service intervals and what those
entail. Also, I didn't see your location, but
finding the nearest Ferrari authorized
service tech is CRITICAL for your success,
in my opinion. (30,000 "engine-out" service
is the biggest one)

I'm right up the road in Santa Barbara. Have not located an authorized service tech in this area yet. Car has had it's 30,000 mile engine out service. Appreciate any tips.

Does anyone know what the estimated milage life of a Ferrari F430 will be? as in how long will the car last in years and milage before problems.

Thanks, Ben

30,000 miles if you don't do the "engine-out" service.
OR
50,000 miles if you don't address the suspension (your authorized Ferrari Tech can advise you on the conditions)

The entire thing is based on your commitment to service and spending money to maintain the best vehicle Italia has to offer.
