Default Two Wheeled Ferraris for the Green Generation

The dilemma of finding the perfect gift for the Ferrari lover this holiday season has just been solved. Appropriate for these health conscious and environmentally conscious times, Ferrari has launched a line of unique bicycles. Bicycle sales have risen dramatically in the last several years. This is due in part to the spike in oil and gasoline prices. Many people have seriously explored the option of using a bicycle as transportation to work and to the store, not just for recreation. Even after gas prices settled down, a large new group of bicycle commuters is here to stay. Another reason for the steady increase in bicycle sales is their popularity as a way to increase and maintain fitness. The low impact, high fat burning sport of cycling is unmatched for exercise and enjoyment.
Bicycle manufacturers Colnago and Turbo teamed up to engineer the current line of Ferrari bicycles. Colnago has become famous for its high line road and mountain Ferrari bicycles that it has produced over the last decade. These exotic bikes were priced upwards of $8000.00 or more. The Colnago and Turbo Ferrari bicycles offered by Ferraribikeworld are now far more affordably priced, with the top of the line CX-70 comfort bike at less than one-third the price of the Colnago C2F Ferrari mountain bike of 2007. Ferrari now has seven models available in the CX bicycle collection. There are Ferrari bikes for all ages and tastes, with myriad wonderful details such as Ferrari style gauges on the kid’s bikes, and disc brakes on the youth and adult models.
The CX-70 comfort bike boasts Shimano’s integrated Cyber Nexus component system, with computer controlled forks and automatic shifting. This provides a comfortable ride in varying terrain. The CX-70 is available in three frame sizes: small (430mm), medium (470mm), and large (520mm). The frame is made of hydroformed aluminum, for strength and light weight as well as controlled flexibility for a comfortable ride. The three color choices for the CX-70 comfort bike are Rosso Scuderia, Silverstone Gray, and Daytona Black.
Next, Ferrari offers two outstanding mountain bikes. The CX-50 is a front suspension bike with disc brakes. Components include Shimano Deore front derailleur and shifters, Shimano LX 2008 rear derailleur, and a hydroformed aluminum 7005 double butted frame with carbon fiber. The second Ferrari adult mountain bike, the CX-60, boasts front and rear suspension to keep the rider in control on rough terrain. The CX50 and CX60 are offered in three frame sizes, 430mm, 470mm and 520mm, just as the CX70. As with the CX70, the CX50 and CX 60 mountain bikes are shipped 95% assembled so you can get out and ride right away.
The Ferrari bike line offers two 20” youth bikes for ages 8 and up. The CX-30 is for boys and the CX-31 is designed for girls. The CX-31 girl’s bike is painted in attractive pearl white and pink, with a light gray chain guard. The CX-30 for boys is a mountain bike with a cool grip shifter, front and rear disc brakes, and comes in Ferrari red.
For even younger riders, Ferrari offers two smaller sizes of bikes. The CX-20 is for children 6 to 8 years old, and the CX-10 is designed for 3 to 5 year olds. These are quality made children’s bikes demonstrating an eye for safety, with features such as widened handlebar ends to protect children’s hands, and full chain guards to keep clothing, fingers, and toes away from the chain. Both bikes come in attractive Ferrari Red, with flags, rear mudguards, and removable training wheels.
Ferrari’s theme for their CX bicycle collection is “Live the myth”, and they are destined to not only please their riders, but also set them apart from the crowd, just as a true Ferrari always does. Where can you order your Ferrari bike?
