When restoring any Ferrari let alone a very significant one, experience, expertise and attention to detail is a must:

When doing a frame up restoration even the frame is stripped and completely inspected, repaired as necc. and repainted. If you look carefully the original hammer marks from the making of the bodywork is still evident in the fender well:

...it might be hard for some to believe but this is the same engine as in the previous photo. Through the wizardry of difficult and careful restoration techniques engine 0937 was brought back from the brink and rebuilt to better than new condition:

...after restoring old engines and before they go on the Dyno for break-in and power pulls, it's always a good idea to bench-test them. Have to admit it's fun after so much work to fire off the engines on the stand.

One of the most rewarding and

One of the most rewarding and satisfying moments of restorations is seeing an owner like Mr. Kawamoto smiling in approval, meaning all the hard work is truly appreciated.
