Hi Everyone!
I replaced my plugs today for the first time since I bought the car a year ago. The old plugs were NGK BP6ES but I bought and fitted BP8ES plugs. It seems to run OK and goes like a rocket, but then anything would be better than the misfire that had developed!
My question is, for road use will I notice any difference running the colder plugs, or more importantly will it do any damage/harm?

Thanks in advance..

Nick

I would stay with the BP6es or

I would stay with the BP6es or BP5es plugs, otherwise you might have constant cold start fouling. Especially if you have poorly tuned carb or a weak cap/wire.

Nick I went from 6'es to 5

Nick I went from 6'es to 5's and that was 3 years ago. No low speed or high speed problems. I would foul out 6'es in city traffic but have never fouled out the 5's. With a carb car I would stick with 5's
