The alarm not working properly

The alarm not working properly was caused by the battery being pretty much dead. Now, with the new battery installed, The starter spins, but no bang. Any ideas?

Did you check all the fuses, esp. the fuel pump fuse and relays -- making sure that the fuses prongs are pinched tightly on the fuses? Sometimes jiggling the fuses creates a better connection.

My FP fuse has

My FP fuse has a bypass with an updated fuse. It is nice and tight, as was the FP relay. I checked for FP operation by disconnecting the blue safety circuit plug on the Fuel Dist. I heard the FP loud and clear. I don't think I am getting spark. The alarm doesn't appear to be the problem as I am able to get the starter to work.

What is the procedure to check for spark?

Or attach a timing light to each plug lead as someone cranks the car for you. I have an extra battery for this to get power to the light.

Is there a power connection in engine compartment of 308's for things like this? I've never seen one. My miata had one.

I pulled the #1 plug wire off and did the spark test. We have spark!!

If the car ha cranked over slo

If the car ha cranked over slowly over a couple of times, good chance that the plugs have fouled. Pull the easy rear ones and check, if they are fouled, replace them, sometimes you can get away with just the 1-4 bank, as the car will start on that bank and slowly clear out. Better and safer to replace all if you can though.
