Say guys, was going to add the microplex ground upgrade on my 328 (using Jeremy's great post on Ferrari Forum) and found a couple of things that makes me think this is unnecessary on the 328.

1) Has a nice big fat ground wire going from the big connector over to the chassis.

2) The connector has a metal clip arrangement that precludes the need for using tie-wraps to hold it on. It is very well retained.

Also, I only have one box. Is there another one hiding somewhere or as that it?

I'm thinking I will go ahead and put the ground on anyway, since I am in there. And I will remove the connector and paint some Stabilant 22 on it and reconnect. Sound good?

Hi Dave,

only ine box on the 328's & 3.2 Mondials.

Yes better grounding and harness securing...it's good to learn from previous experience.

Stabilant sounds like a good idea...it's dark & sometimes murky down in there.

BTW, I was mistaken, there are TWO 14 gauge ground wires from the large connector fitted to the digiplex, and the chassis. I have now added another 12ga wire from the digiplex mounting bolt to chassis. Also did the Stabilant contact enhancer.
