Hi Dino,

I'm not clear

Hi Dino,

I'm not clear on what you mean by sticking up or sticking down....do you mean the windows won't move with the switch?

The passenger window won't

The passenger window won't move. When the switch is hit...the light on the passenger window switch dims...so that I know that power is going to the window.

Ok, sounds like you need to i

Ok, sounds like you need to inspect the wiring harness plugs on the front fenders.

It's common that the tiny cs wires or pin connectors fail. You need access to both sides of the fender panel, and then you'll have to pull back the rubber covers to expose the wires/pin connectors, then a careful inspection & repair could solve your problems. It's common for the window ground wires to break/loose contact at this harness junction causing the issue you describe.

yep, I agree all that tiny stuff is a PITA...and getting to the front of the plug is a real joy...{
}...

anyway...try looking there first as it's definately "one of the usual suspects"..if it turns out not to be the plugs/wires let us know.

I did pull the door side yeste

I did pull the door side yesterday and they looked in great shape. (Better than the driver's side looked a few years ago.)

The fender side is going to be a real PITA...but I've gotta look somewhere!

Dino,

the ground & plus

Dino,

the ground & plus wires connections on the drivers side also affect operation of the passengers window, might be worth a look see on that side also.

Food for thought...or interest

Food for thought...or interesting discussion?

Why does it seems that so many Ferrari models have trouble with their power windows...?

And I thought all along it was just unique to the BB...

ha ha...

maybe because their system lacks a key element found on cars like RR..window stops...to keep things from breaking at the end of the travel Ferrari uses very weak motors with very thin cross section wire to impede electrical flow. Instead of strong motors with stop actuators.

Well....

I finally found th

Well....

I finally found the time to take the door apart and check things out. I figured that I was going to end up replacing the window motor. While I was fishing around in the door I found the culprit....

The power cable that has a 'secure' rubber plug on it just came off of the motor. That was it! I plugged it back in and the window did it's usual 'speedy' journey like it's supposed to.

That was a cheap fix! I'm sure that if I visited my local criminal....otherwise known as Scottsdale Ferrari they would have replaced the motor, the door...and anything else that they could have! If anyone wants a real nighmare story from a factory store let me know.

Anyway...thanks for your help and now I can enjoy the AZ weather a bit more....Ciao....Dino
