Would you happen to have the valve timing specifications for this model? Car is a 1972 with "Euro" (single distributor) engine. Will be using a degree wheel attached to crankshaft.

Thanks to turner, loaned my copy of Bluemel to a friend who wants a Ferrari now that I have one.
Bought my car #15551 last year, was in storage for 7-10 yrs, not running, just bringing it back to life. Sold in Houston, has all the DOT stuff on the chassis but the engine is a euro. I live in CA, two years ago this would have been mission impossible because of no air pump!
Thanks again for the help. jackw

Jack,

My name is Aaron Mast

Jack,

My name is Aaron Masters – I live up in the foothills North of Sacramento – also have a C4. I timed my engine using the marks on the cams, and at this point regret not having actually dialed the timing with a degree wheel. Did you happen to look for discrepancies between the degree wheel set up and the indicated position form the marks on the cam. Also, I would be interested in sharing learning’s as you go.

I bought a Euro C4 recently that had sat since 1989. After rebuilding the carbs and a few other things, it runs pretty good. It is currently at Bobileff Motors in San Diego for some major work while I am assigned in Argentina.
Jack, does your car have properly working self leveling shocks? Mine were rebuilt a few years ago and just don´t function. I am thinking of installing air shocks to get the right ride height. I will also pass on the timing information to Gary Bobileff.
Hello to Aaron. He has provided me with some good information and is a fellow C4 lover.

Jack,

where are you in Cali

Jack,

where are you in California? I'm in the Napa Valley. I had a 348 and just sold it to look for a C/4. May have found one, I'll be checking it out this weekend.

Guys,

i've just noticed that some C/4's have a single chrom mirror and others have black plastic mirrors. Is this a euro/us difference as well.

Thanks,

Vincent.
