Well, It turns out that my trouble getting a "short" parking brake cable long enough to work on my car is due to the fact that the 85 308's had a different cable setup according to Bill at GT Car Parts. He has the correct one and is sending it to me as we speak. Who would have thought the PB would be different? Just a little FYI for you 308 owners out there.

My thanks to Bill for not giving up and coming through.


Keep your fingers crossed. Soon I hope to have a repaired non-functioning PB like the rest of you guys.

Jeremy, thanks for the heads up on the parking cable. When I bought my '85' 308, the original owner said that the PB had not worked for 17 years. But through the efforts of my mechanic, it now works.
