Well,

Ferrari-Talk recieve

Well,

Ferrari-Talk recieved a fantastic gift today from Carl Rose,

a CD filled with extremly comprehensive Tech Articles on a variety of 328 problems, fixes and procedures. Haven't popped it in yet, but from the previous articles of Carls I've read, they are filled with photos and some of the best written and thorough works I've had the pleasure of reading.

Carls Tech Articles will make a very valuable addition to the Tech Archives. And I consider myself and Ferrari-Talk very fortunate to have recieved this gracious gift.

Carls writing and photos will guide those who need them effortlessly thru many different operations and repairs. And I'll be putting them up in the Archives in short order.

Carl ,

The sincerest of thanks for the selfless time and effort to produce these Tech Articles!

Regards, JRV

Can't answer your query, J

Can't answer your query, JRV, but I gotta chime in with regards to the excellent quality of the Tech Articles that Carl puts together. His easy-to-follow instructions (complete with pics), that even an idiot (like myself) can follow, have enabled me to do a couple o' things to my car that, heretofore, I might have hesitated to undertake. Yes, Thanks Carl!

Sean,

Just post your specific questions on the board. There's probably no better board out there to get answers for tech questions. That way everyone can benefit also.

Cheers

Also check the Tech Articles in the Tech Archives section. I'm sure as more questions get answered this area will be more populated with helpful info.

Sean,

agree with Taek, that questions in public allow everyone to benefit in the long run. Even I enjoy the oppurtunity to learn from these resources.

And to answer your question, all of Carls Tech Articles (of which there are more I haven't had time to post yet) deal with the 328's, but many of them will certianly crossover to 308's.

JRV,
have you considered post

JRV,
have you considered posting on your site a "best of" Q&A of common/familiar problems? Tony Palidino has done this on his site, comprised mainly from his previous columns in Forza.

>>have you considered posting on your site a "best of" Q&A of common/familiar problems?<<

Hi David,

yes, that's what the permanent Tech Archives are for at the bottom of the home page. You may have noticed I just asked DJ to include his Headlight/Parking Light Mod there. The Tech Archives are a good resource as quite a few guys have used the Carb Adjust article to help themselves thru their tuning issues, and going forward hopefully we will have many, many other such articles on a wide array of different subjects and issues. Maybe someday the tech archives will be so full of procedures that it will be the bible of Ferrari service and repairs.

I welcome contriutions from everyone that doesn't mind taking the time to write procedures for all to share.

Regards, JRV
