·I am checking the water temp s
I am checking the water temp sensor (just below the thermotime switch). It has only one terminal.
Ohm reading shows no continuity between the terminal and body.
I had the Ohm meter attached to the body and terminal, while heating the sensor in water.
It went from no continuity to 500 Ohms at 140 deg F........300 ohms at 160........200 @ 180.....150 @ 195.........and settled at 175 ohms @ 205 deg.
Is this normal?
Does this sensor influence any part of the fuel, or ignition, system?
Thanks
