I just purchased a new shifter

I just purchased a new shifter kart a few weeks ago. We are in the process of building the motor and setting up the chassis. My first thought was, "Holy cow look at all of the parts!!" It took us over an hour to unpackage all of the parts to where we could start working. We are almost finished (hopefully today). I will post completed pics when we are finished.
We will be testing at MSR Houston Monday and Tuesday if anyone has some free time and wants to see these karts in action.

You should have a lot of fun with that cart. I've got a 02 Tony Cart (model before the self adjusting brakes, and 50mm rear axle. Very competitive, even though old, we did a little motor work. Used Gidley's book for the set up, worked pretty well. Enjoy.

LOL!!! No Paul. I sold my Ferrari to get another Ferrari. I have been side tracked for a while.
JRV had tried for three years to get my into karting. I finally gave in and tried it and have been having sooo much fun that I haven't thought much about another car. But I am getting the bug again. I still have my eye out for a 348SS.

We are loading up the trailer and heading to the track this morning. We'll see how well she handles...

Here are some pics from the build process and the final product. Many long hours were spent to put the engine and chassis together. Jerry Dehaan and Stuart Robinson (7 time national road racing champion) from Dehaan Racing spent many nights well into the morning hours fabricating custom parts and mounts. On her maiden voyage she topped out at 115MPH at MSR Hosuton.
