Where can I find a replacement

Where can I find a replacement fuel filler hose for my '76 308 GTB? Ferrari UK has Euro version, but I am not sure if it's the same.

I heard NAPA...what diameter is the filler hose and what length (mine has been trimmed so I can not measure it)?

Where can I find cloth covered lines for fuel/evap system with the correct dimensions (7mm ID, 14mm OD)? JRV, what do you use? Where do you get them?

Thank You,

Anthony

I replaced the filler hose on

I replaced the filler hose on my '78 GTS with NAPA #1055. It is a little longer than the Ferrari item but easy to 'trim to fit' during installation. This hose is fuel rated and manufactured by Goodyear.

NAPA also has some nice 'high end', solid band clamps that utilize a bolt and nut in lieu of the common worm screw like those found on radiator hoses. After the clamps are sized it may be necessary to trim the end of the bolt with a Dremel (off the car!).

Hope this helps, DJ

Anthony,

Anthony,

you can get the cloth hose at any German Car supply source. All the cloth covered hose sizes were used on a wide variety of German cars from VW'sto MB's and everything in between. It's generally sold in 3meter lenghts.

Gates makes the fuel filler hose sizes but if Ferrari UK has some in stock save yourself trouble and just order from them. Yes Euro & US Hose Neck sizes are the same.

If NAPA has the hose sizes in

If NAPA has the hose sizes in Fuel Rated that would be the way to go...

Thanks DJ for the tip & part #'s.

Best, JRV

Hi,

Hi,
...just for everyones info, Ferrari UK carries the 7mm ID/14mm OD black cloth-braided fuel/evap line. I have found that all of the cloth-braided line available from foreign auto parts stores (for VW, etc) has a thinner wall, i.e. 7mm ID/12mm OD. I have been looking for the beefier stuff and finally found it!
