Having looked at a hole drille

Having looked at a hole drilled in the center of my '84 308 QV instrument panel by the previous owner, I opted to install a CF version. I was told they were flimsy and THEY ARE. So I just installed it on top of the old aluminum panel, replaced all the bulbs with 4w(large)and 2.3w(small) versions, which really makes a difference in instrument lighting. Here's a picture.

Looks outstanding Mike!!!

Where did you get the CF poece?

Really modernizes the look.

Did the bulbs really help? it's a common question, how to brighten the dash lights.

Well, mine does have a little

Well, mine does have a little scratch on it!

Pretty sharp!

I think Enzo made the bulbs dim so you could see the road better at night!

The panels are available from

The panels are available from a number of suppliers. I bought mine from Lyle Tanner Enterprises in California.
Yes, the bulbs do make a diffference. It still isn't as bright as I like but it is defineitely better (I can now see the speedo and barely make out the tach). Also, the idiot lights are brighter with the 2.3w bulbs.
