Looked under 360 didn't see skid plates????

DeXM might be selling the ones the guy in England was making??? or someone could have bought a set from me and be copying them?????

Do you have the ebay link?

The ones from England are unfinished and very rough imo. Unless he made radical changes to the ones I saw.

The E-bay item# is 7917399419.

The E-bay item# is 7917399419. They are different than yours. The mounting looks different looks like they don't have a backing plate but the finish looks similiar.

Hi Dennis,

I went and looked them up.

The Hill Engineering Plates on Ebay have No Hand Finishing or Polishing...the edges of my plates are hand Chamfered to allow them to resist any type of "snagging" whatsoever even if they are run into a curb..the ability to lift up and slide over almost any type obstruction is of critical importance to the design of the leading edge of my plates. To create my plate leading edge requires about 1 hour of careful grinding per plate...after this leading edge is hand ground, the plates are then sanded smooth and polished to a chrome finish to give them an apperance befitting a Ferrari. If I short cut the entire Finishing Process of 4-5 hand processing hrs per set my plates would sell for much less than the Hill plates. The raw cost of his plates are about $80 per set....so his profit margin selling unfinshed sets is pretty fantastic....while my profit margin even though my sets sell for slightly more is very marginal due to the giant increase in hours of finish work.

You can rest assured that you have the finest sets money can buy and the amount of time put into my sets assures their will be no simular plates for less anywhere.

I wasn't complaining I think the plates I got are great, a great piece of craftsmanship. I just wanted you to know someone out there is competing with you. The fact that it looks as if there is no backing plate but is screwed in with bolts and washers it could cause more damage then prevent. I'm letting Wide World of Cars install my plates while their doing the major.
