I am told that I should not us

I am told that I should not use solid core plugs now that I have installed MSD's on my daytona. If Bill Badurski or anyone can suggest the correct plugs for this installation, I would love to hear that asap. I have some NGK's now that are hotter than factory and before MSD's they were not bad, but now the car is hesitating a bit despite being tuned...help? JRV? Bill? anyone?

I'm not familiar with the term "solid core plugs". Are you talking about wires instead? I ran the stock "solid core" wires with MSDs, no problem. I also used NGK BP6EV or BP7EV plugs. Heat range is best determined by trail and error, as it will be influenced by driving style.

the hesitating can b

the hesitating can be caused by quite a few different things...."despite being tuned" is a curious way to describe an engine that's hesitating...to my way of thinking the tuning process uncovers running issues if they exist and solves them, resulting in an engine that runs smoothly and correctly "because of being tuned".

1- check the plugs clean/replace as necc.
2- check & adjust as necc. points & timing
3- check & adjust as necc. idle speed, air balance, idle mixture, linkage adjustment

asumming compression & cam timing, mechanical condition is fine the above three steps once dialed in should result in a smooth, powerful running engine. Problems left unaddressed in any of the 3 areas can result in stumbling, hesitating, general poor drivability.
