I've always wondered about the legality of the company mentioned in this brief...I guess this answers all my questions!

One of the problems is that AL

One of the problems is that AL did not become a title state until the mid 70's. Hence if you had a bill of sale and a current registration you could register you car in AL but you would not receive a title if you car was older, than I believe, 1976.

Then you take your AL registration to a different state and title the car. The new state knows that AL is not a title state and will only require a current registration and bill of sale to get it titled.

You can see how this system can lead to a lot crap like this going on.
