Wish you could all have been there. Truly a great experience. Not the first time I've been to them, but each and every time it's refreshing. Kind of like charging up your batteries for the upcoming drought of cars in the winter.
Seeing these cars in the flesh is quite a relief. It kind of makes the world spin a little better. The sights are one thing, but THE SOUND! Wow. A moving museum. The cars are right there for anyone to get up close and personal. There are helpful people there to answer whatever questions you may have, and best of all. You get to see them in action. I got to sit in some pretty amazing cars. I helped a guy start up his stubborn Bugatti. Push started a Porsche 910 (err...that would be me and another guy doing the pushing of course). Helped fuel up a Jaguar D-Type and Alfa Romeo TZ. Ran into a friend of my dad's from Japan who didn't bring any of his cars but was just there to enjoy the sights and sounds.
Didn't take too many pictures becuase I'm a horse's ass and left home with the battery on my digital camera three quarters dead.
I'll post more from Pebble Beach after the event.
