Hi guys,

I had to replace the brushes in my Daytona radiator fan. Found a set that worked at a starter shop here locally. Now my problem is getting the thing back together. It's difficult to get them to stay in place with the springs as you move it down the axel towards the armature.

I did this once on my Boxer's fans and recall it being a bit easier.

Anyone got any tricks to get the thing back together.

Figured it our. You can remov

Figured it our. You can remove the fan blade which allows you to back up the armature assembly enough that it goes together.

Drew,
Some brush holders had a small hole that you could push the brush and spring back into the holder and put a small pin in the cross hole to hold the brush back until you install the armature, then remove the pin and release the brush. Did you notice if your brush holder had this hole?
