Hi.......

Anyone have any experience with a fuel stabilizer called Sta-Bil:

Manufacturer claims that it will prevent deposits in fuel lines and carburetors during long periods of storage, such as might be experienced by a Ferrari.

Frank,

Frank,

I've used Sta-bil for many years in all sorts of gasoline powered devices, including my cars...

Works as advertised...Standard equipment up here in Snow Country! Lowes/Home Depot has in in large sized bottles much cheaper than your corner auto parts store.

Agree, I'm a firm believer

Agree, I'm a firm believer in it for clients that summer in Europe or winter in Florida, etc.

Modern gas is only good for a max of 3-4 months imo before going bad. In the old days it lasted longer, but not so any more.

Does it hurt anything just to have it in there? Apparently, fuel injector cleaners when added tend to mess the O rings in the Fuel Distributors. Does Sta Bil do that? I realize it is not a cleaner...but what is it?
