Hi,

...just cleaning up some loose ends this winter

with my car(among other things)and I would like to re-attach the small carpet pieces on the underside of my engine bonnet. It looks like someone had tried to re-glue them with non-optimum results - the pieces start to fall off once the glue becomes warm after driving.

What should I use to remove the old adhesive and what would be a good product to use to glue them back. I have a standard contact cement for rubber, metal etc, but not sure of it's heat tolerance.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank You,

Anthony
