Would it be safe to use Magnegore ignition wires on a computerized 308? Someone told me that it's best to stick to Cavis only due to peculiarities with the Digiplex system. Is this true?

Hi Bill,
Yet another urban myth...Putting Magnacore wires on your car would be a very good thing. The Digiplex, as with most electronic ignition systems are sensitive to ignition wires that do not have adequate RFI shielding. In that respect alone, the Magnacor are far, far superior to the Cavis wires...

Read this thread concering problem I had with a new Cavis wire set on my BB...

You can thank me later!

I concur with David. I believe Magnacor wires are as good they get from and EMI/RFI standpoint which is good for electronics. I suspect their quality is also good.

A local FCA member here in Seattle installed them on his 328GTB, and he is happy.
