I have a 1984 400i with absolutely no keys. I do not have a key code. How would one go about getting a set of keys?

If you mean you have a car wit

If you mean you have a car with absolutely NO keys as examples, you'll have to remove all the locks and take them to a safe company to disassemble and re-key.....not an easy task but it's do-able!

You could TRY the Factory Owner's Web site or Ferrari North America but on a 1984, I dunno.......

It's not a hard job on the door obviously, but the dash switch on my 308GTB had the steering column lock attached and took some headstanding to get out!

It was just another day at work for the safe guys....

Now, I had three locksmiths come by the house to cut a key "feeling" the pins........the last one was actually successful! Amazing.....but the lock guys later said that was very hard on the spring/pin bores and was not a desirable approach, normally.

And of course I was paying this 'magician' by the hour also!
