Hello JR,

Today I had the day off.

So, I had a little fun.

I took your advice (from the other fc site long ago) and changed the oil pan nuts to nylon lock style nuts (stainless) .
Reason is : about a year ago, I changed the shift shaft seals on the thing, and a leak still remained along the front bank down below off the pan.
'I think' either the old nuts came loose (because they broke loose with little force) or they leak thru the threads. So I decided to change them.

Well, we'll see. hopefully this will cure it.

GREAT NEW SITE !

Hello JR,

That's right,

Hello JR,

That's right, you said sealing nuts. Damn, I used locking nuts. Oh well, I might have to do it again.

I thought I had mentioned I had a Ferrari in one of the threads started by Allan about Ferrari owners being whinners or something like that.
(I thought I did, I'll go back and check)

I let the wife go get groceries in the Ferrari

Sorry I didn't get this board up and running sooner...you could have asked about the nuts to have refreshed your memory...;-)

Hello JR,

I'm not quite sure which board/post/thread you're refering to. I think you mean FC, and somebody had an oil leak etc....there was a thread about that. I really can't remember exactly, it was awhile ago, all I remember is you mentioned sealing nuts (and I forgot the 'sealing' part, sorry)

I do not post at all on FerrariChat, just listen/watch/laugh/follow... (if that's the other board you're refering to ?)

? I hope I answered your question.

btw : I don't particularly fancy the FC board. It's too overwhelming with "opinions" for me.

I like facts, that's why I like this board and the LamboList board alot.

I'll post these in the Resource Links Category for later also.
