I used a #3 surgical scalpel handle, with a #10 blade, to remove the rest of the hoses. I made a single cut down the length of the nipple, and then, used a small screwdriver to pry the rubber apart.....works great!!!! I wonder why I didn't do this, before trying to PULL the hose off......thus breaking the nipple......live and learn. If you try to remove the hose, it WILL, most likely, break the fragile aluminum nipple.
I will use this method on ALL hoses that I plan on replacing.
